Restaurants and cafés

International menus

Feast your eyes and taste buds in ice cream parlours, pastry shops, restaurants and wine bars! From hidden gems to traditional favourites: you will find a warm welcome in the city’s eateries! The city centre boasts a colourful mix of local German cuisine and menus from all over the world – served in a range of modern and rustic settings. Street cafés tempt visitors to sit and watch the world go by. And don’t forget the popular restaurants on the Rhine promenade with views of the river.

Outside the centre, other parts of Worms also have a wide range of eating places to choose from. Seasonal wine bars open in the summer months, with tables and chairs on the pavement. Wherever you are in Worms, there is always somewhere to have a snack.

Enjoy your stay!

Local wine-growers at the Worms farmers’ market

The farmers’ market has a new attraction: six local wine-growers have been selling their wines at the Siegfried fountain every Saturday.

Taste and choose Worms wines at the farmers’ market and take a bottle home: six local wine-growers are now selling their wines at the farmers’ market every Saturday from 8 a.m. The new collaborative venture by the “Wormser Markt-Winzer” fills a gap and widens the range of products on offer for regular market customers and for tourists visiting the nearby attractions.

The participating wine-growers – Spohr, Weinmann and Klosterhof Lösch from Abenheim, Müsel and Schäfer from Herrnsheim and Kloos from Horchheim – will take turns running a stand with their own products until late autumn

Depending on demand, they may put out standing tables and a small amount of seating, but the main focus of the wine stall will be on selling bottles.
