The Realm of the Nibelungs

The Nibelungs have had more old sagas and stories written about them than almost any other group of people. In the Dark Ages, during the Migration Period, the Nibelungs stopped by the Rhine and chose Worms as their capital.

Package I–3 (for individuals)

The Nibelungs left plenty of traces behind them: the Siegfried stone that Siegfried hurled across the Rhine from the nearby Odenwald mountains to Worms, and the Hagen statue that marks the place where Hagen sank the famous Nibelungen hoard in the Rhine. The Nibelungen-Siegfried Route from Wertheim and Tauberbischofsheim to Worms offers even more legendary sites and significant tourist locations from the famous saga.
